We are currently recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our MEP team.
The successful candidate will have opportunities to work on high-profile projects across sectors such as life sciences, industrial, commercial, pharmaceutical, residential, and many more.
This position is located in our head office in Dublin and involves travel to various projects across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities: Design and specification of mechanical engineering solutions for buildings, to current regulations and design standards.Working with the MEP team and project design team to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.Pre-construction engineering activities including coordination of services and production of information (tender drawings, specifications, and equipment details).Monitoring and management of projects during construction including site inspections, technical submittals, and RFIs.Assisting M&E staff in all work relating to the safe and timely completion of projects.Working with the team to inspect all installation works against the agreed level of the approved quality plan.Attend project meetings.Required Skills: Third-level Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.3+ years experience in a similar role.Experience in designing and specifying mechanical/building services systems.Strong technical ability and good understanding of current engineering standards.Previous Main Contractor experience is preferred, ideally with project experience.Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent IT skills – knowledge of Revit/BIM, Microsoft.Package:
