Role Purpose CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join the team located in Cork. The successful candidate will undertake maintenance tasks (emergency, reactive, planned and corrective) in accordance with client specified plans. Key Responsibilities ¾You will work as part of the client mechanical team to carry out all maintenance, installations and repairs. You will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment, ensuring all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with client policies and procedures and ensure that they are recorded also. ¾You will support the engineering and production teams on continuous improvement and monitor equipment to minimise downtime and be able to recommend continuous improvement actions. ¾You will also carry out the effective analysis and elimination of recurring equipment problems and help to maintain the engineering area in terms of good housekeeping and health and safety. ¾Follow maintenance risk assessments on all work activity ensuring safe systems of work are adhered to at all times ¾Ensure all plant rooms and workspaces are maintained and kept in a safe condition at all times ¾Report / escalate all out of line situations, including Near-Miss & Accident Reporting. Skills / Experience Required ¾Previous pharmaceutical/GMP experience desirable
¾Maintenance Fitter Craft Certificate or equivalent is essential ¾Recognised / fully completed apprenticeship ¾Strong customer service skills ¾Must be able to work within a team and be self-motivated ¾Flexible in approach to work scheduling ¾Demonstrate ability to work under pressure. ¾Good communication skills, both oral and written
