Project Engineer (Mechanical) – Cork Minimum Requirements: At least 4 years Engineering experience in Bio/Pharmaceutical GMP environment and GMP change control systems (Trackwise or Veeva QMS) is preferable.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical; or other related discipline.Experience of current cGMP requirement of an FDA/HPRA approved facility.PC and software proficiency – Microsoft software and Microsoft project.Must be good record keeper and data analyser, attention to detail, accuracy and documentation skills.Must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.The Project Engineer reports to the Capital Projects Manager and is responsible for supporting and assisting the Capital Projects Manager in the planning and organization of projects to achieve the project objectives safely within agreed time, cost and performance criteria.
Duties include: Coordinate and participate in Design, Construction and C&Q activities on site.Lead projects for facility modifications and capital equipment procurement.Assist the Capital Projects Manager in the planning and tracking of activities.Liaise with the various stakeholders on the projects to ensure clear communication between all parties.Provide technical process support to the project team throughout the project life cycle.Generate and execute Commissioning & Qualification activities if there is a requirement.Review turnover documentation from vendors.Setup and review of contracts with Legal Representatives.Assist in the setup of a capital project programme.Responsibility for direct supervision of vendor engineers and contractors during engineering works on single or multiple capital projects.Use of Permit to work system or other safety systems of work to control engineering activities.Management of capital and cost benefit analysis.Participation in HAZOP and design reviews.Generate and check project engineering deliverables such as technical specifications, procurement submittals and handover documentation.Arcadis | DPS Group is a leading Project Management and Engineering Company delivering Full-Service Engineering with a 'client first' mentality and personal touch across a range of market sectors: Project and Programme Management, Procurement, Design, Construction Management, Health & Safety Management, Commissioning, Qualification and Start-up.
