AVK-SEG UK Ltd is a leading provider of critical power systems and maintenance, dedicated to ensuring uninterrupted power supply across various industries.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Project Engineer to join our dynamic project delivery team in Dublin, Ireland.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion, focusing on the design and implementation of diesel and gas generators on a large energy centre delivering three data centres.
You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities include: Leading mechanical engineering projects, ensuring strict adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and provide technical support during the design phase.
Creating detailed mechanical designs and drawings using CAD software.
Conducting inspections and tests to verify that project deliverables meet the specified standards.
Overseeing project documentation, including technical reports, method statements, and risk assessments.
Engaging with clients and stakeholders, addressing their needs, and maintaining proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Participating in site visits and factory acceptance tests as required.
Requirements The ideal candidate will possess: A degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in mechanical project engineering, preferably in the power or energy sectors.
Strong proficiency in CAD software and mechanical design principles.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with clients and team members.
A proactive approach to project development and an eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
