Job Title:Social Worker Duty & Children in Care Location:Carlow, Kilkenny, South Tipperary Salary:HSE pay scales Working Hours:Full Time Monday Friday Medforce is currently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a dedicated and supportive team in the Duty & Children in Care service across Carlow, Kilkenny, and South Tipperary.

Key Responsibilities: Duty: Responding to referrals, assessments, and crisis situations, ensuring the immediate safety and well-being of children.
Children in Care: Providing support and assessments for children in care, working closely with foster families and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children.
Developing and implementing care plans, contributing to case conferences, and managing a caseload.
Collaborating with other services, including health, education, and legal professionals, to provide holistic care.
Documenting and maintaining accurate case records in line with regulatory standards.
Essential Requirements: Degree in Social Work and CORU registration.
At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in child protection or children in care services (desirable).
Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Full drivers license and access to a car.
