We are seeking an administrator with at least two years' experience in a customer-oriented administration role to join our client's expanding team. You will be ambitious, aspiring to get on a career path within the medical sector, and be happy to commit to taking qualifications to develop your career.

Our client is an established organisation with an excellent reputation and will be moving soon into new premises in Cork as they look to expand their operation. This is an excellent opportunity to get established and grow with them.

You need flexibility with your working hours and be available to work every other Saturday. You also need to be a good communicator and enjoy working closely with the general public. You'll be smart, engaging with excellent people skills, and be well organized with solid IT skills. You will also need a full driving license.

This position offers a solid opportunity to get on a career path, with lots of different directions opening up in an ambitious and progressive organization.

Responsibilities: Administering medications and topical treatments. Educate patients regarding administration of medications and pre- and post-operative instructions as directed by Consultant. Managing a busy clinical & surgical appointment schedule. Processing insurance billing forms and invoices for all surgical and clinical procedures. Accurate data entry of patient information into various systems. Deal with a high-level volume of calls in a timely and efficient manner. Produce a high standard of written communication to medical professionals and patients. Requirements: Able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced and changeable working environment. Exceptional timekeeping. Excellent at communicating over the phone and handling phone systems. Strong computer skills and experience with tracking, recording information and updating customer accounts. Full driving licence as travel may be required. Qualifications: 2-3+ years experience working in a busy administrative function desirable. Skills: Excellent interpersonal/teamwork skills. Excellent communication skills with demonstrated success both verbal and written. Have the ability to interface and build relationships with patients, employees, and managers. Maintains a high level of professionalism, integrity, and trust. Have a 'can do' attitude with a willingness to undertake any task required. Does it sound like you?
