Medical Receptionist

MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST: Position Details: Permanent Position Hours: 8.30 -5.00pm 4 days per week Days: Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Fully onsite role parking available.
Job requirements: Experienced medical receptionist / administrator required for busy GP Practice in Dublin 15 area.
Provide pleasant and consistent manner and be courteous and helpful at all times.
Meeting and greeting patients, checking them in for appointments.
Taking payments and balancing receipts at the end of the day.
Answering busy phone lines and assisting callers in scheduling appointments, ordering documents and answering queries.
Organising and scanning post.
Scheduling couriers, organising packages and samples to be sent in a timely manner.
Other ad-hoc administrative duties as they arise.
Minimum requirements we are seeking include: Recent experience working in administration in a medical environment We are seeking someone with a minimum 2 years of experience in a GP Practice with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional manner over the phone and in person.
Ability to multitask and work unsupervised, and to use initiative to follow tasks through to completion.
A mature approach to handling sensitive and confidential information.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of Health One an advantage.
