IOB is a recognised college of University College Dublin (UCD) and is a centre of excellence in the provision of specialist education to the financial services sector.
IOB was founded in 1898 and is one of the oldest financial services education institutes in the world.
IOB offers over 40 UCD accredited programmes in all key areas of financial services.
A total of 6,800 people studied with IOB in the 2023/2024 academic year, and we have the largest continuing professional development community in Ireland with 25,000 registered members committed to lifelong learning.

This is an onsite role with hybrid working, approx.
50% in office and 50% home Benefits:Travel Pass, Pension (entry after 12 Months of employment), EAP Programme, Education Support, Company Leave Days, Laptop and Home Office Equipment POSITION SUMMARY The Membership Engagement Administrator will work to ensure our community of members have a value proposition that is best in class.
You will support the delivery of member events and initiatives which will result in increased satisfaction among IOB members and increased retention and acquisition of IOB members (individual and corporate).
This is an entry level role onto the team.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES Member Events Member events are a key element of our membership proposition that are highly valued by our members.
You will support thedelivery ofa range of IOB events, including online member events and conferences, in-person networking events, award ceremonies, graduations, corporate visits, launches and round tables.
Working cross-functionally, you will ensure: Event speakers have everything they need to deliver as part of the event.
All events are accurately available to members for registration on the relevant platforms All resources are available for in-person events.
Relevant events reach the correct audiences and that events are promoted to our members.
Venues, external vendors, contractors, agents and any additional supports are in place to ensure the success of an event.
You will also manage the post-production of our online events so that they are available for our members to rewatch on demand on our learning platform, IOB Learn, complete all relevant post-event reporting and contribute to process development, improved solutions, and enhanced experiences for our members.
Member Content You will support the work of the Membership Engagement Team to deliver on a portfolio of content for our members which includes online Continuing Professional Development (CPD) modules and micro-content.
IOB Learn IOB Learn is our innovative personalised learning platform for our members.
You will support the work of our team to maintain and manage this digital platform and make sure it is a consistently great experience that delivers for our members.
You will edit, review and upload content to IOB Learn, and will also report on trends and insights which will help us to deliver further for our members.
Supporting the work of the team You will be an integral part of the team and will: Support campaigns and initiatives to members to ensure that we deliver for all categories of members.
Answer member queries directly.
Support the work of our Regional Committees.
Identify, gather and analyse member data and preparing insights for the team so that we can enhance the experience for our members.
Draft MI and Management reports.
Ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: The candidate should be a team player with a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
They should be flexible in their approach, self-motivated and possess very strong collaboration skills with great attention to detail.
As some of our events run outside of working hours, flexibility will be required.
The candidate should have strong relationship management skills, excellent communication skills and have a commitment to professional excellence.
Experience working with a digital platform and/or editing skills is an advantage, and proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is preferable.
