Our client, a consultancy with a rich history in delivering excellence in a variety of project sectors, is looking to add a CAD Technician to their established drawing and design team.
You will be joining a leading MEP design consultancy in Dublin renowned for delivering innovative solutions across commercial, residential, healthcare, and data centre projects.

As an MEP CAD Technician, you will play a key role in producing precise, high-quality drawings and layouts that support the design and development of complex building services systems.
Your work will directly impact the success of projects that shape modern infrastructure, while gaining brilliant opportunities in-house to actively work on upskilling your design skills.

This role is permanent, ensuring job security!
You will be integrated into the team at your own pace and will be able to get involved in projects as soon as you are ready!

Responsibilities Collaborating with MEP engineers and designers to create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ensuring all drawings meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Managing drawing documentation, revisions, and updates throughout the project lifecycle. Participating in design team meetings, providing technical input and solutions.
Supporting coordination efforts with other disciplines, including structural and architectural teams. Minimum Requirements Proven experience as an MEP CAD Technician within the building services or construction industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) and familiarity with Revit/BIM 360 (desirable). Strong understanding of MEP design principles and coordination processes. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. Team player with good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
