Mergers and Acquisitions Associate Director A rare opportunity within the Irish Market to join an Investment Bank within their M&A team at Manager level focused across Technology, Gaming and AI sectors both domestically and internationally.
With an extremely healthy pipeline and a growing market share, our client is now seeking to add to their team and business here in Ireland with an experienced Manager who has gained significant M&A experience from inception through to completion with excellent "Deal Creds"!
The Job itself: Leading out on and assisting on deals from inception/origination through to completion covering significant angles within a broad range of sectors across both Public and Private markets, albeit mainly within Broad Technology.
Understand, manipulate, and interpret financial data and client information, drawing appropriate conclusions with a strong Financial Modelling appetite and ability as well as excellent understanding of the full M&A lifecycle and process.
Liaise directly with external clients and work closely with investors appraising every opportunity on its financial and commercial merits.
Carry out relevant analysis and present your findings (both written and orally).
Review Excel and AI Based models under supervision and arrive at preliminary conclusions.
Lead a Team of Analysts through all M&A Deals and advise and mentor accordingly.
Experience Required: Sector agnostic experience although exposure to Technology, FinTech, & Renewable Energy would be a plus coupled with at least circa 9 years' experience across Corporate Finance, M&A, PE and or Investment Banking.
Exposure to the following would be key: Valuations, Financial Modelling, M&A, Due Diligence and or broad Transaction Services.
Excellent Academics as well are also a pre-requisite with at least a Level 9 Masters Qualification required.
Extensive "Deal Experience" required showcasing exposure to end-to-end process through the deal cycle.
Strong personal skills and commercial acumen are also highly desirable.
