Job description: Overall Purpose of the Role: To monitor and maintain the flow of pallets and space utilisation within our automated Warehouse / Distribution function in line with company stock holding policies.
The roles requires working a 12 hour shift, over days, nights and weekends, over a three month rotation period, 7am 7pm or 7pm 7am.
Main Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure the flow and the movement of stock/pallets within the cranes are completed accurately and in a timely fashion Responsible for the movement of stock from a specific storage location to a pick bay area.
Responsible for fixing operational / mechanical faults, including pallets, labels and crane machines Ensure ASAR (Auto storage and retrieval system) is utilised correctly and efficiently to maximise internal space and operations Ensure that each pallet goes into the desired location from bakery and goods inward and make sure correct pallets are selected for goods out Work in conjunction with all departments and functions across Warehouse & Distribution to optimise efficiencies Profile description: Key Competencies: Essential: Self starter with the ability to work on own initiative Ability to multitask Working to Deadlines Communication Skills Flexible and reliable Team player Ability to work shift work (including nights and weekends).
