Our client is a renowned global provider of fund administrations, with a strong presence in the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) in Dublin. They are seeking a Middle Office Manager – Hedge to join their growing team. As a vital member of the Middle Office team, you'll work with top industry professionals to deliver high-quality services for complex fund structures.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the Reconciliations Team: Manage a team within the Reconciliations, Client Service and Delivery group, focusing on reconciling client transactions to third-party data for accuracy and record integrity. The CS&D function addresses discrepancies in third-party reconciliations to ensure accurate portfolio maintenance and risk management prior to financial statement production.Risk Management and Protocol Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of risks, cash flows, and industry best practices, ensuring SLAs are met. Build and develop the skill set within your team to enhance service quality.Resource Allocation and Oversight: Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring client deliverables are met while minimising overtime. Manage risk on positions and ensure timely communication and escalation as necessary.SLAs Compliance and Monitoring: Oversee team deliverables to ensure SLAs are consistently met, negotiate adjustments when needed, and apply best practice protocols.Expertise in Reconciliation Processes: Serve as a subject matter expert on reconciliation processes, systems, and financial instruments, especially concerning position maintenance (including both theoretical and practical application within systems like Aexeo).Client and Project Management: Support new business projects and act as a primary contact for clients and internal counterparts during onboarding.Staff Coaching and Development: Mentor team members to perform effectively in their current roles and develop them for future management positions.Qualifications: A Bachelor's or Master's degree.Over 6 years of experience in Financial Services.Extensive product knowledge in domestic, global, and OTC security markets, with a focus on Fixed Income and derivatives.Experience with systems implementations and workflow processes.Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to effectively manage expectations.Excellent analytical skills and communication abilities.Prior experience in team management.Familiarity with Hedge or Mutual Funds; a professional accounting qualification is advantageous.Benefits: Our client prioritises employee well-being and provides a range of benefits designed to support work-life balance and professional growth.
