Job Title: Graduate Mechanical Engineer Location: Cork, Ireland Salary: 35/40k DOE Position Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while contributing to cutting-edge projects.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with the design and specification of mechanical systems for building services projects.
Support senior engineers with project coordination, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to specification.
Conduct site surveys and assist with the installation of mechanical systems on-site.
Prepare technical reports and documentation.
Work closely with the electrical team to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical systems.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Participate in regular project meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes.
Continuously improve technical knowledge through training and development.
Requirements: A recent graduate (within the last 2 years) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, HVAC, and building services design.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus.
Full driving license (preferred).
