Morgan Mckinley | Indirect Tax Accountant

Morgan McKinley is working with a leading multinational, to find a tax accountant to join their team in Cork.
Responsibilities: Manage VAT returns, statistical returns, and VAT reconciliations for European entities.
Prepare quarterly VAT provisions and reports for financial reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams on various business initiatives and VAT compliance.
Train internal teams on VAT procedures and answer ad-hoc VAT queries.
Assist with tax audits, liaising with external service providers and authorities.
Identify process improvements and build relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
You Are: A highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong follow-through.
Able to research issues independently and communicate findings clearly.
Deadline-focused and self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
A natural collaborator who can work effectively across departments.
Approachable, confident, and a strong communicator with excellent written and spoken English.
You Have: Tax qualification and hands-on VAT experience with 5 years+ of experience.
A strong attention to detail and a willingness to take responsibility.
An accounting qualification (advantageous).
Experience with Corporation Tax & Withholding Tax (beneficial).
