Donegal Aurivo Co-op is a large multi-purpose Co-operative engaged in a wide range of activities including dairy processing, liquid milk distribution, animal feed milling, retail stores, e-commerce, garden centres, livestock marketing and sports nutrition. Opportunity Reporting to the Production Manager, Aurivo Consumer Foods, Killygordon the successful candidates will be responsible for pasteurisation of Milk and Cream products on site.
Key Responsibilities Work as part of the production team on a night shift pattern operating and monitoring pasteurisers.
Accurate completion of all necessary documentation and testing of critical control points in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Sampling and testing of milk and cream products as per standard operating procedures.
Produce products according to the standard operating procedures and separate into the correct batches and tanks.
Follow recipes for all value-added products.
Cip of silos, tanks, product lines.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Adhere to health and safety procedures.
Other duties may be assigned as required.
The ideal candidate will have.
Ability to work on their own initiative in a fast-paced environment on nights.
Engineering background in a production factory or pasteurisation and CIP experience preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail with food safety and health and safety compliance.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills.
Good written and computer skills.
