Office Administrator – Moycullen, Co. Galway My client, a leading transport company, is currently seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with strong career progression potential.
This position is based onsite in Moycullen, Co. Galway. Shifts: 10.00-19.00 & 08.00-17.00 Monday to Friday.
The role is essential for supporting the smooth operation of the transport department by handling administrative tasks, including data entry, customer communication, and report submission. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:Accurately enter and maintain data in the Transport Management System, including delivery details, schedules, and customer information.Ensure that records are up-to-date and reflect real-time changes.Assist with generating reports and maintaining documentation for the transport team.Respond promptly and professionally to customer emails, addressing inquiries related to deliveries, schedules, and other transport-related matters.Resolve customer queries efficiently, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.Collect, compile, and submit subcontractor reports as required by management or the transport team.Ensure accuracy and timely submission of subcontractor performance data.Handle general office duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.Support the transport team with administrative tasks, including scheduling, paperwork preparation, and other ad-hoc tasks.Maintain office supplies and ensure that necessary materials are stocked.Assist with additional office-related tasks and provide administrative support to other departments as needed.Skills and Qualifications:Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and document management.Proficient in Microsoft Office: Competency in Excel, Word, and Outlook to manage administrative tasks and communications.Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS): Experience with TMS or similar software is preferred but not essential.Customer-Focused: Ability to professionally address and resolve customer queries in a timely manner.For further information please contact ****** with an updated CV.
