Our client based in Dublin 1 are seeking an Office & Communications Administrator to join them on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This is a new role for the business so there is a high possibility of being made permanent.
The purpose of the role is to support members with day-to-day queries, offering advice, promoting the strong social element of the organisation and encouraging engagement.
The office in Dublin is small so this role would require and energetic individual who enjoys a hands-on role.
Your role, along with the support of colleagues, is to ensure all members across the Republic of Ireland feel connected and supported.
Salary – €48,000 - €52,000 Hours – 35 per week Annual leave – 25 days On site role – no hybrid working Company pension Duties & Responsibilities Report to and support the work of the General SecretaryRespond to queries of Branch officers and individual members in relation to matters that come within the objectives of the association and as designated by the General Secretary.Maintain, develop and create content for the website and social media platform(s).Create and maintain good working relationships with all Officers.Create, organise and deliver Branch and District training events, on both national and regional levels.Assist with the work of the publication of the company magazine.Oversee the operation of the membership database and communication with the government body when requiredAssist with the implementation of actions following resolutions at Annual Convention.Assist with the delivery of services/benefits to the members of the association.Essential skills & Attributes required At least 5 years work experience.A third level qualification relevant to the role.High proficiency in office software and associated administration skills.Website and Social Media content administration & development skills.Knowledge of membership database management & data download procedures.Ability to create, organise and deliver regular training & information programmes.Expertise in preparing and editing documents for publication in print and online.Demonstrate a result driven approach with evidence of being innovative, energetic and flexible.Experience in office management and staff development.Ability to work within a small team and build strong relationships both remotely and in-person with Association Board members, volunteers and members.Working knowledge of GDPR regulations is desiredA knowledge of the not-for-profit sector is desired
