Base Location: Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading or Havant; however, flexible working arrangements can be discussed.

The role The Arklow Bank Wind Park 2 project is located off the coast of County Wicklow, on the east coast of Ireland.
The 800MW project will play a crucial role in driving progress towards a cleaner and more secure homegrown energy system for Ireland.
Arklow Bank Wind Park 2 is one of the most advanced offshore wind development projects in the Irish market and is being delivered as part of the first phase of commercial scale offshore windfarms.
To support our growth ambitions and deliver our Net Zero Acceleration Programme, we're recruiting a Senior Project Manager into our Offshore Wind Capital Projects team who will have overall ownership and management responsibility for the Arklow Bank Wind Park 2 offshore wind project.
You will Have overall ownership and management of the project through its development and refinement phases, into the execution phase and through to commercial operation.Drive a culture of commercially focused delivery, ensuring the project is refined and delivered on time and in line with forecasts.Develop an integrated team and lead them to achieve key project objectives.Implement and manage PMO systems to ensure robust project coordination, management, and reporting, across all project management disciplines including programme, risk, cost control, quality, interfaces, and document control.Engage and relationship manage all internal and external stakeholders, including Government Agencies, statutory/environmental regulators, local communities, transmission system operators, NGOs, and Contractors.You have Depth of knowledge and experience in the development of offshore energy projects.Experience leading, developing, and motivating a multi-disciplined team to deliver on challenging objectives in large infrastructure projects.Comfort operating within an environment of high uncertainty and rapid change, with the ability to clearly present key decisions and messages at senior levels.Knowledge of the planning, foreshore licensing, and grid transmission system in Ireland is preferable.Extensive knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation and practices.About SSE SSE has a bold ambition – to be a leading energy company in a net zero world.
