Our client The Land Development Agency (LDA) is a key Government Commercial Semi-State Body that delivers social and affordable housing on State and other lands. The LDA is currently advancing work on more than 20 State lands sites, with the capacity to deliver more than 5,000 homes. It is also delivering affordable housing by working with the private sector on an initiative called Project Tosaigh, which will yield a further 5,000 homes. Additionally, the agency is working on large-scale longer-term strategic areas by master-planning and bringing forward planning applications in locations such as Limerick Colbert Quarter, the Digital Hub in Dublin and Sandy Road in Galway.

The Role Reporting to the Social Content Manager, the Online and Social Media Officer will create and implement campaigns to maximise the Agency's online presence and ensure that its message reaches its audience. Working with the public affairs and communications team, the successful candidate will design creative and impactful digital content to increase LDA brand recognition across social media and online platforms.
Key Responsibilities will include: To implement and coordinate the LDA's social media plan in line with the LDA's communication strategy.Create content to maximise LDA profile and engagement across multiple platforms, including the LDA website.Source and create high quality visuals, photography and digital content.Collect and analyse data to evaluate and improve social media engagement.Provide support and advice on social media engagement to the Executive Management Team.Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Demonstrated success in social media and digital campaigns.Experience in writing and editing social media content, with experience in digital design an advantage.Familiarity with creating content in line with established branding and messaging guidelines.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Thrives in a collaborative environment.Exercise sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude, maintain confidentiality, and be an effective team player.To Apply: The Land Development Agency (LDA) is an equal opportunities employer.
