We are looking for extraordinary people who are passionate about putting our customers first, to join our Online Customer Service team in a full time capacity with weekend and evening support.
Reporting to the Head of Digital & E-Commerce, Harvey Norman is looking for a seasonal Online Customer Service Advisor to work in our Head Office in Swords Business Park, Co. Dublin.
The purpose of this role is to respond to customer email queries, resolve customer queries professionally and efficiently whilst remaining cool under pressure and to support the stability and growth of our online channel.
You will interact with customers on daily basis via telephone, e-mail and LiveChat, providing superior service to our customers and enhancing their overall online experience.
Our website, hosts an extensive range of products for the Home and we are committed to developing this even further.
YOUR JOB your tasks will include: Ensure that Harvey Norman customers are provided with a high quality telephone, email and chat service at first point of contact, dealing effectively with requests, answering queries, taking responsibility for processing each issue through to a satisfactory conclusion.
Handle all queries within the established best practice and department procedures, to the satisfaction of both customer and the business.
Establish positive relationships with all internal and external colleagues, suppliers and customers to ensure delivery of Customer Service excellence.
YOUR PROFILE your knowledge, skills and experience include: Takes personal responsibility for meeting customer needs and resolving issues and is passionate about putting the customer first.
Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Possesses the ability to multi-task such as using a multitude of operating systems concurrently.
Preferably has 1 year of customer service or retailing experience.
Experienced Communicator/Good listener You are a clear communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
Excels at listening and is able to explain things clearly whilst tailoring your approach to each customers needs.
Hardworking, Conscientious, & Self Motivated You have a positive outlook with a high degree of personal and interpersonal energy.
The ability to work under pressure and achieve results in a data driven business environment.
Adaptable to Change You are open and accepting of necessary change and innovation within the company and you show a willingness to learn new ways to accomplish objectives.
Attention to Detail/Organised You have a high level of dependability in all aspects of the job.
Show commitment to the job and to the company, attending at work as needed to complete the job to a high standard.
A strong background in online retail customer service, email support or call handling would be advantageous but if you're experienced in dealing with customers in person or over the phone or in any capacity then you have the potential to become an exceptional Online Customer Service Advisor.
