The Macquarie Bank Europe Operations team supports a number of trading desks across the business. The team is involved in all aspects of the trade life-cycle, from trade verification and confirmation through to funding and settlement when the trades mature and reconciliation of external currency and internal cash accounts.

What role will you play?You will work as part of a highly skilled Operations team in our Dublin office, providing operational support and control to Macquarie Bank Europe's Designated Activity Company. You will gain exposure to a variety of products including FX trades, structured FX, financial commodities, sports finance, and Interest Rate Derivatives. In this role, your day-to-day operational responsibilities will include:
Validation of trade bookingsDrafting of trade confirmationsSettlement of transactionsInvestigation and resolution of cash reconciliationsElements of the margining process regarding over-the-counter, futures, clearing, and collateral optimisationClient Service delivery, acting as a key contact for internal stakeholders and external clientsWhat you offerAttention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure are vital for this fast-paced roleExcellent written and oral communication skillsExperience in middle office operations, knowledge of regulatory changes in the derivatives industry, International Swaps and Derivatives Association standards, and MarkitWire is beneficial, although not a prerequisiteWe love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us.
