Operations Supervisor / Dublin West Our client is part of a global distributor seeking an Operations Supervisor for their local depot.
Key responsibilities will be to effectively run the depot operations and contribute to achieving and maximizing agreed budgeted EBITDA.
This includes the successful management of all operational matters, personnel, health and safety, plant, site, and warehouse security.
Salary guide: €50K – €60K. The Role: Contribute to the delivery of EBITDA targets, cash flow, and budgets.Organize and control the effective supervision of all operational key activities within the depot against the targets set.Organize and supervise the day-to-day operations of the depot.Regularly report on results, agree and ensure remediable action where required.Appraise, train, and develop staff both directly and through line managers.Ensure through the transport and warehouse staff that the site operates within company policy and legal requirements at all times.Ensure that the depot operates within the stated company quality assurance procedures.Ensure the regular monitoring and delivery of customer service targets.Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by the appropriate line managers from time to time, related to the effective and efficient performance of the job, provided they are within the post holder's skills and ability.The Candidate: Health & Safety qualification (IOSH)CPC CertificateWorking towards or a member of an appropriate professional bodyAppropriate Health and Safety qualification - IOSHAchieved or working towards a supervisory management qualification with the Institute of Supervisory ManagementSite/Operations management experienceBe motivated and keen to run the depot with the teamIdeal for a candidate who is reliable, can take ownership, and is looking for progressionCall Carol on 01-9121893
