About the role:Based in our Dublin office, Finance Solutions, a Howden company, are delighted to have a vacancy as a Paraplanner for our Life & Pensions book of business that will be an integral part of our wider Financial Lines team. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning, the successful Paraplanner will ensure that the company's clients receive exceptional advisory services. You will work closely on conducting market research, preparing statements of suitability, assisting in the development of comprehensive financial plans, and progressing agreed business.
Additionally, this role requires the individual to have strong relationship management, be process-oriented, and optimize client relationships in the pre and post consultation stages.
Key Responsibilities:Engage and develop a trusted relationship with clients in the pre & post consultation stages.Support the Head of Financial Planning with financial reports and analyses on pension, investments, and life assurance products.Assist in the research and recommendations of life and pension products that align with clients' financial goals.Assist senior advisors in creating customized financial plans, including retirement and investment strategies.Oversee administrative tasks, including updating client files on CRM and preparing & submitting compliance documents to providers.Stay informed on market trends, regulatory updates, and new products to enhance service offerings.About You:QFA certification with 3+ years of brokerage experience in life and pensions.Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data and making clear recommendations.Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in financial planning software tools desired but not essential (CashCalc preferred).About Howden Ireland:Howden Ireland is part of Howden, the global insurance intermediary group, and has over 400 employees across 24 local offices advising clients on their commercial insurance, personal insurance, health insurance, life and pensions, and mortgage requirements.
