Part Qualified Accountant (Senior)

Barden is partnering with the Group FC of an Irish business entering a period of high growth. The finance team is looking to appoint a Part Qualified Accountant (Finalist/Senior Level) to their Dublin City based team.
Working closely with the Group FC and Head of Finance, this person will be involved in strategic financial initiatives across the group. This opportunity would suit someone who is looking to take a step up in their accounting career and join a team with clear progression pathways while taking on managerial responsibilities.
In this role you will be involved with various monthly accounting activities and take duties from senior managers as the group expands. You will be a key part of this growth going forward and the Group FC is hoping to mentor and develop as you complete your qualification.
ABOUT THE ROLEResponsible for the month end process including the production of management accounts.Assist with journals, GL reconciliations and balance sheet recs.Oversee day-to-day operational finance activities including (AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll).Budgeting, and forecasting activities on a weekly/monthly basis.Involved with external audit processes.Liaising with internal teams and being a point of contact for accounting & finance related queries.Contribute to continuous process improvements.Assist with ad hoc projects.ABOUT THE PERSONPart qualified accountant, nearing the end of your professional exams.At least 3 years' experience working in a similar role.Ability to work on own initiative with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.IT skills, specifically Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables).A natural problem solver with strong analytical and technical skills.Apply with your CV.
