Patient Liaison Administrator Required in Dublin 24 -Immediate Start, 34K Key Duties and Responsibilities ·Daily collect all medical insurance forms and consent to private care forms from all admission points. ·Review all forms to ensure accurately completed and ready for submission to the relevant Private Health Insurer. ·Preparing and reviewing reports to ensure private patients are captured correctly in the hospital and providing analysis on reports prepared. ·Calling to patients on the wards daily to collect signatures for medical insurance forms and/or consent forms that have not been captured and to clarify Insurance policy numbers where required. ·Arranging for the collection of signatures where ward visits aren't permitted ·Liaise with families of patients when required to inform them as to what the insurance cover provides and implications of when not covered e.g, patients awaiting LTC ·Check the admin tab and requested bed tab is correct on Patient management system to ensure accurate billing. ·Interviewing public patients admitted to ascertain if they have medical insurance or medical cards. ·Liaise closely with Bed Manager/Clinical Nurse Managers/Admissions/Ward Staff and Discharge Planning Staff ·Provide daily analysis on bed utilisation. ·Investigate and report on any significant issues in relation to the utilisation of hospital beds.
