We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our Shared Service Centre in Cork City.
We are recruiting a role within the Cork Shared Service Centre for an individual seeking a challenge in a fast paced, high volume, customer focused environment who has a passion for payroll and service delivery.
You will be responsible forall matters relating to payroll processing and payroll deductions, acting as a payroll point of contact for finance and HR Managers and external stakeholders for both Ireland & UK.
The role requires an experienced payroll professional with efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail to ensure smooth payroll process.
Working to strict deadlines, you will be an adept multi-tasker and problem solver.
Key Responsibilities: Part of team to process weekly/monthly payroll end to end for employees in UK & Ireland Partner with internal stakeholders in collating and validating data for processing Administer payments for, Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay and Statutory Paternity Pay and all UK statutory absences.
Respond to all employee and manager payroll queries in an efficient and timely manner.
Supporting the Payroll Manager with current projects- system testing, parallel payrolls testing, documentation, change management.
Covers for other Payroll Administrators in the event of absence.
Key Requirements: Proven experience in payroll and administrative work and delivering exceptional customer relations, demonstrating empathy and a flexible approach that adapts to changing business climate.
Experience using payroll processing engines - Megapay/SAGE Cloud & Micropay etc.
Knowledge of payroll processing including benefits administration and statutory payroll regulations for both Ireland & UK.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities along with unwavering integrity, discipline, and attention to detail.
Proficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal & written, fostering collaboration with colleagues, teams, and other functional areas.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years experience working in payroll processing more than 50+ employees.
UK Payroll experience is advantageous but not essential.
IPASS qualification/ CIPD qualification or similar is advantageous but not essential.
