Position Description Applications are invited for a Team Member position in Payroll. As part of a skilled and professional team, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of an effective payroll service to over 6,000 employees and over 7,000 pensioners. People Operations is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of People Services related to the employee lifecycle - attraction, recruitment, on-boarding, administration of total reward and benefits, delivery of learning and development interventions, and payroll & time administration. It is also responsible for maintaining the central database for all employee data (e.g., role profiles, payroll, personal data, etc.), for management information and for monitoring HR quality, performance and compliance. People Operations will drive process improvement for the end-to-end HR processes, to deliver a user-friendly experience. Key Responsibilities Input to and manage a range of payroll services to ESB employees. Delivery of an excellent customer enquiry service to managers and staff. In conjunction with line managers and HR Shared Services, ensure compliance with ESBagreements and terms and conditions. Ensure PAYE and Revenue data is updated and compliant. Working closely with other members of the team to ensure payroll timelines achieved. Essential Experience and Qualifications Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. An orientation to working with detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy. Strong administration and organizational skills to ensure effective and timely delivery of services. Ability to deal with complex, numeric data. Good computer literacy. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on a range of duties as assigned. Reporting To This role will report to Payroll Team Lead Location This position will be based in ESB's Head Office at Fitzwilliam 27, Dublin 2. The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least one anchor day per week.
