Benefits of the Payroll Administrator Job include: A highly competitive salaryHybrid working model with flexibilityResponsibilities for the Payroll Administrator Job include: Support the end-to-end processing and payments of fortnightly Payroll and deductions for staff and pensioners (approx. 300+ staff currently)Responsible for ensuring all payroll inputs are accurate & completed on timeMonitor payroll inbox, action & investigate in a timely mannerComplete necessary reconciliations and returns such as Pension and CSO in line with deadlinesSupport the month-end process as requiredSupporting/driving compliance and adherence to the policies set down by Revenue and Government Bodies, supporting a strong compliance culture by ensuring robust internal controls and audit standards are achieved and maintainedProviding inputs relating to Payroll for cash flow forecasting of paymentsKey point of contact for the Department of Transport, C&AG, internal and external stakeholders including HR, Revenue and external service providers providing efficient & effective support where requiredSupport the grant administration process.Support Internal and External audits as required and provide support for the preparation of annual Financial StatementsRequirements for the Payroll Administrator Job include: Certificate or Diploma in relevant business areaPrevious payroll experience in non-systemised payroll environmentsExcellent planning and time management skills with excellent attention to detailStrong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build rapport and embed seamlessly into the teamBe an effective communicator who is persuasive, encouraging and motivatingA 'can-do' and flexible approach with the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.Strong MS Office skills with an excellent working knowledge of ExcelProficiency in all aspects of PAYE Revenue reporting, to include RPN processes, Payroll and other payroll submissionsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbout the job Contract Type: Permanent
