Payroll & Pensions Administrator

My client, a government office, is hiring for a Payroll and Pensions Administrator. This position is office-based in Dublin 24.
They are looking to recruit a highly experienced administrator who is capable of self-leading and coordinating a review of the organisation's people information contained within the Human Resources and Finance files. This is a critical role which will audit, verify, and cleanse the data leading to a complete and full update of the HR, Pension, and Payroll files and databases.
Roles and Responsibilities:Conduct a review of the HR, Pension, and payroll information repositories.Develop, initiate, and manage an appropriate audit plan.Work across both the HR and Finance functions to determine the critical objectives and incorporate these deliverables into the audit plan.Conduct the audit in a planned and proficient way with high attention to detail.Determine the appropriate methods to contact employees to obtain missing data in line with relevant legislation (i.e. GDPR), verify and cleanse information collected, and update relevant records (both hard and soft).Plan and conduct a review of the hard copy files in regional locations, collate and cleanse files, and update relevant databases (e.g. HRIS, Micropay etc.).Ensure that the audit exercise is in line with the data subject rights under GDPR.Collaborate on data management solutions with both the HR and Finance teams.Experience, Qualifications and Skills required:Immediately available.A recognised third-level qualification at a minimum level of NFQ Level 7, or equivalent.A full driving license that is valid in Ireland.A minimum of five years relevant experience in an administration role where high attention to detail and being self-led was a critical element of the role.A track record in data analysis/research, working with spreadsheets and databases.High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.Ability to be self-led and demonstrate initiative.Strong problem-solving skills, good analytical and strategic thinking skills.To hear more or for a confidential discussion please contact Hannah Somers on 016146182 or ******.
