Payroll Specialist Part Time D24

Our client is based in Tallaght, Dublin 24 and is a global industry leader in their sector, known for their commitment to excellence and innovation.
They are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage their weekly and monthly payroll processes.
This is a permanent, part-time role (22 hours/week), salary is €40,000 to €45,000 pa pro rata, plus pension, staff discount, flexi-hours, and working from home option.
DUTIES OF THE ROLE: Weekly & Monthly Payroll: Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll, including calculations for taxes, deductions, bonuses, and other adjustments.Payroll Software: Use Brightpay and Advanced Systems TMS to manage payroll processes, including data input, payroll runs, and reporting.Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant payroll legislation, tax laws, and industry regulations to ensure full compliance.Employee Queries: Address payroll-related inquiries from employees in a professional and timely manner.Reporting: Generate and distribute payroll reports for internal use and to meet external regulatory requirements.Time & Attendance Management: Support time and attendance management via Advanced Systems TMS, ensuring accurate capture of employee hours.Collaboration: Work closely with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies.Record Keeping: Maintain organised and accurate payroll records for auditing and regulatory purposes.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Experience: Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, ideally in a global or multi-entity organization.Software Expertise: Proficiency in using Brightpay and Advanced Systems TMS.Education: Relevant qualifications in Payroll OR Accounting.Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in processing large payrolls.Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with employees and internal teams.Time Management: Ability to manage workload effectively, ensuring deadlines are met.
