Working as a Pharmacy Technician: Work as part of a dynamic team, supporting our Pharmacists dispensing prescriptions, working alongside an experience team of OTC staff, be able to give expert advice, while working in a positive very busy environment providing the best care to our customers at all times.
As Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will be to: Receive, record and print prescriptions, issue the appropriate receipts and report changes or queries to the Pharmacist.
Serve customers over the counter medicines and shop retail products.
Advise on specific over the counter medicines, referring to the Pharmacist where appropriate.
Ensure the smooth running of the dispensary for the ease of the Pharmacist on duty and your customers including, maintaining computer records and relevant paperwork.
Ensure that any errors or safety issues are brought promptly to the attention of the Pharmacist on duty or Genera Manager.
Maintaining appropriate stock levels, and rotation of stock.
Ensure that the Pharmacy is kept clean and tidy and any Health and Safety issues are brought promptly to the attention of the Supervising Pharmacist/ Manager.
Requirements: Have the rights to live and work in the Republic of Ireland.
Relevant IPU Pharmacy Technician Certificate will be advantageous.
1 year+ experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good attention to detail is essential.
Genuine passion for customer service and love for interaction with people, alongside discretion when addressing customer queries and customer/patient.
