DescriptionAvista is a dynamic disability service providing clinical supports and residential services to children with complex disability needs and their families.
We have 3 network teams in Blanchardstown, Blakestown & Cabra.
You will be joining dynamic, family centred, interdisciplinary teams with excellent access to supervision and support from team.
The successful candidates will required to work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team that provide services to 0-18 year old children and young persons with complex needs.
The candidates will work in partnership with families within a family centred model.JOB ADVERTISEMENTAPPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSISTANTCHILDREN'S SERVICES CABRA, DUBLINPERMANENT PART-TIME CONTRACT (35 Hours Per Week).Salary: €33,591 -€42,613*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience .Essential: Possess the Certificate in Health Service Skills or Healthcare Support at Level 5 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) maintained by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).Must be eligible to work in the Republic of IrelandFull Clean Driving licence and use of a carCandidates must have the personal competence and capacity to properly discharge the duties of the role.Completion of the HSEland Children's First and understanding of how this policy is applied in Children's services.
Desirable:· Experience working with children with complex needs arising from a disability and their families.· Experience working as part of a team.· Any relevant post graduate training specific to child disability services.REQ: 26645The successful candidate will be aligned to senior Physiotherapists to support them to carry out clinical and administrative duties, in providing a high-quality service to children and young people with complex needs.
