Your new company Hays Belfast are working in partnership with an established high-end fit out contractor in their bid to recruit a Planner who can take the lead for the company programmes.
With projects ranging from £1million to £20million, you will join a fast-paced environment and plan work for high-end luxury fit-out schemes across hospitality, residential and commercial properties.

As part of its ever-growing client base and continued expansion plan, this company is seeking to add a Planner to the team who can programme and forecast multiple projects as well as improve tender submissions with accurate plans.
You will be an integral part of the business and help grow the company as well as your own personal career.
Your new role Reporting to the Senior Management team, you will take full responsibility for 4 to 5 projects at any one time as well as tendering for new work.
Your new role will support the company by identifying, controlling, and forecasting timescales and resource requirements whilst implementing best practice, project planning and the full life cycle of projects from tender through to completion.As this is a senior role, you will be tasked with liaising directly between operational management on site, client requirements and communicating with all relevant stakeholders.
Already using Microsoft Project, your company can also implement ASTA Powerproject if this is your preferred software and your new role will be to provide help support for all planning functions, ensuring that issues or irregularities within the programme are highlighted and understood by all, as well as creating and updating programmes as the projects develop.
What you'll need to succeed This is a permanent vacancy for one of Northern Ireland's leading Fit Out Contractors who has placed a very high importance on this role.
Previous experience of working in a construction planning role will be required, ideally within Fit Out or Construction projects, and you will be required to have a strong understanding of MS Project or ASTA software.
You should have a good level of understanding of commercial forms of contract and the ability to produce monthly reports as well as programme amendments.Experience in carrying out planning duties in line with common forms of construction including NEC, ECC and JCT will be favourable.
A very limited amount of UK travel will be required (1 to 2 days per month) and generally you will be home on the same day you depart.
