Due to the expansion of the business, a vacancy has arisen for a  Plant Manager at Keegan Group located in  Drogheda Port.
This is a permanent opportunity and will report to the Managing Director.
Champion and own the safety and quality culture in the plant by driving behavior, process, accountability, and discipline within the site.
Responsible for all aspects of the plant's day-to-day operations.
Deliver all performance targets for the site while balancing all stakeholder needs/expectations.
Build organisational capability through developing, training, and recruiting talent, and create a structure that enables success for all employees.
Responsible for ensuring the organisation has defined work methods, employees are trained to work methods, and procedures are adhered to always.
Responsible for all facility equipment/tooling, driving preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment-related process controls are in place and completed/monitored as required.
Responsible for receiving, inventory, materials, shipping, planning, and all materials functions.
Drive process development, deployment, and continuous improvement into all business areas- staffing, materials, operations, process control, manufacturing quality, etc.
Qualifications and Skills A high-level sales professional with a good business sense.
A deep understanding of marketing principles.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
A positive attitude / demonstrates passion and energy.
Strong negotiation skills.
Plenty of initiative / can work on own initiative.
Excellent time management and organisation.
