With best-in-class expertise and experience, underpinned by our technologically advanced facilities, we manufacture and retail a complete range of premium quality dry mortar products from coloured renders & mortars through to specialist grouts, floor and concrete repair products, all to approved accreditations.
We are currently looking for an experienced Plant & Packaging line Technician based at our location in Brownstown, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare, R56 VE86.
The successful candidate will have full responsibility of routine maintenance and servicing of plant equipment and machinery in an efficient and safety driven manner, driving efficiencies through process alterations & minimizing line downtime.
Responsibilities: Operate and maintain packaging machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
Increase Line efficiency through process driven modifications and alterations.
Development and implementation of plant & process line preventative maintenance programs.
Diagnosing Breakdowns, return plant & lines to service in a timely manner, minimise downtime.
Liaise with H&S team on periodic testing of safety equipment and maintaining records of same.
Component rebuilds and testing, monitor and record spare part usage.
Demonstrate a lead by example approach to all aspects of Health & Safety, be fully compliant with Company Health & Safety: policies, procedures, systems and rules, report all hazards and incidents and ensure that you work safely at all times.
Skills Required: Time Served Trade in a mechanical discipline, previous experience in a packaging or manufacturing plant is preferred.
Line process and efficiency driven individual is highly advantageous.
Experience in Robotics and programming beneficial.
Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Practical knowledge of tooling and specialized equipment to conduct repairs.
Practical knowledge of conveyors, elevators, and finishing lines.
Strong planning and organizational mindset with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
