Platform Engineer

The RoleWe're looking for an enthusiastic platform engineer to join our team. Someone who enjoys working with others and has a drive to be an expert in their field. Having the right attitude is the most desirable skill on the team. The successful candidate will strive to learn about the best ways of doing things & will take a lot of pride in their work.
Key ResponsibilitiesWorking with development teams daily to:
Explore infrastructure solutions & feedback to teamsImplement solutionsEffectively communicate their work via daily standup, Jira & ConfluenceMaintain & enhance deployment pipelinesWork with technologies such as Python, Bash, AWS Code, AWS CloudFormation, AWS ECS, Docker, and Linux (RedHat based distributions)Desired Skills:Boto3AWS CDKAWS LambdaInfrastructure as Code (Design & Implementation Knowledge)MavenJavaNodeJSSpringBootBenefits of working with Sim Local23 days annual leave + an additional day's annual leave for each complete year worked subject to a maximum of 25 days per year!
