Offer DescriptionApplications are invited for a postdoctoral researcher post in the Bioinspired Inorganic Chemistry group led by Dr. Aidan McDonald based in the School of Chemistry at Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin.
Details of project: The research project will focus on the preparation and characterisation of molecular catalysts for hydrocarbon oxidation and polymerisation of CO2 into polymers.
This research will involve a combination of catalyst synthesis, homogeneous catalysis, and polymerisation/depolymerisation studies.

RequirementsApplicants should be highly motivated and have extensive research experience in synthetic coordination chemistry.
Applicants should demonstrate strong communication skills (verbal and written) and are expected to have an excellent publication record.
Applications should be submitted before February 15th 2025.
The anticipated start date is in April 2025 or as soon as possible after an offer is made.
Contracts will be fixed-term and offered initially on a one-year basis, with a probationary period of 3 months.
The salary will be €44,847 per annum.
