In addition, this service facilitates a national network of health services to ensure a coordinated approach and promote best practice.
We are seeking applications from experienced nurses for the role of Practice Nurse Manager (CNM 1). The successful candidate will be based in Dublin's North inner city providing primary care to those who are not being served by other services including undocumented migrants, protection applicants without access to primary care services, as well as homeless people. The Primary Care Service operates as a GP service with daily clinics and strong links and engagement with other services in the area caring for vulnerable cohorts. The team comprises GPs, Nurses and Medical Administrator.
To be considered for the role the following criteria are essential: Registered General Nurse with The Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).3 years post-registration experience in Community / Marginalised Population within the last 7 years.Higher education qualification/ training or experience in relevant area (Practice Nursing/ Childhood Immunisations/ Management).It is essential interested applicants wish to work in this specialist area and are able to demonstrate important personal characteristics and values including Pragmatism, Lack of Prejudice, Optimism, Boldness, Enthusiasm, Kindness, Positivity, Self-awareness, Sense of Social Justice, Sense of humour, Compassion Integrity, Empathy Tenacity, Imagination, Respect, Openness, Patience and Idealism.Eligible to work in Ireland.Detailed job description available on application.
