Combining your background as a Java engineer with data engineering skills, this is a senior position for someone that comfortably straddles the two worlds of Software and Data Engineering and wants to lead out this high profile initiative and mentor a team of data engineers. Latest Azure tech stack—Databricks, Azure Data Factory, PySpark, ETLs—You'll architect this project from scratch. The team is remote by default with monthly meetups.
