Job DescriptionLead new product introduction, scale-up and tech transfer activities in Production units and Coordination of site wide Process engineering activitiesProvide frontline technical support for all process/Engineering related issues to assigned equipment, systems and processes ensure execution of processes on-time with no safety and quality incidents.Providing support for the new product introduction, scale up, technical transfer and commercialisation of new compounds in manufacturing facilities.
Ensure that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with New product requirement Development Process.Able to perform and present detailed process evaluation for the new products with the help of global development organisationSupport plant readiness for registration, launch and commercial production, supporting Design of equipment & scale-up and the follow upLead and Support the assigned projects and liaison with Projects, Automation & Information Technology (AIT) and/or other departments for support/ implementation of tasks.This role would be part of the Production Engineering teamFor the assigned new product support all aspects of the manufacturing process from end-to- end, from raw material release through manufacturing also co-ordinating testing and release for product launches and transfersDemonstrated ability to work with team members in order to meet tight deadlines in a cross functional team environment.
Able to coordinate and lead a multi-disciplined team when requiredEnsure the safe operation and maintenance of equipment and/or systems, including environmental protection and industrial hygiene.Support/lead the quality and safety incidents to the assigned pipeline.
Ensure the corrective/preventative actions are implemented in timely mannerEnsure the site standards are met.
Apply site standards and also applied by others (when in lead role).Ensure areas meet compliance standards and audit areas against standardsHighlight any issues and work proactively with the area team and others to ensure resolution.Identification and execution of process improvement projectsLead cross-functional teams, as applicable, to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using root cause analysis toolsEnsures that all maintenance, preventative and unplanned, of assigned equipment/systems is completed on schedule, within budget, in a safe and satisfactory manner and all necessary documentation completed.Start-up of all new equipment, process and/or systems assigned, on schedule, within budget, and in a safe mannerAssist in preparing the annual capital budget, monitor and control cost of assigned capital projects.Training of engineering and operation personnel on discipline related issues and assigned new or modified equipment/systems.RequirementsMinimum Bachelor Degree in Science8+ years xperience in a fast moving environment together with new product introduction, process scale-up and commercial implementation of chemical processesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPackage€45 - €65 per hour dependant on experience6 month contract initially but strong likelihood for extension
