Job Description: My Dublin based client is looking for a Procurement Ariba Support Assistant to join their team on a contract daily rate basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a large and ever growing Financial Services company.
Job Purpose: We are seeking a Procurement and Due Diligence Specialist to join our European Technology Services team on a contract basis.
This role will report to the Procurement Department and will focus on supporting the Due Diligence Project.
The primary responsibility will be performing internal due diligence tasks, updating the Ariba Contracts Management System, and liaising with subject matter experts to ensure that all supplier due diligence responses are appropriately reviewed and recorded.
You will work closely with a third-party company that assists in collecting due diligence responses from suppliers, and BH Consulting, contracted to perform Security Assurance and Privacy reviews.
You will also collaborate with the Procurement team, internal business contract owners, and other internal stakeholders.
This is a time-sensitive project with regulatory deadlines that must be met by year-end.
Key Responsibilities: Engage with business contract owners to record internal due diligence responses.
Update the Ariba Contracts Management System with business contract owner (BCO) responses and perform control tests as required.
Track and report progress on completed and outstanding due diligence tasks.
Attend regular meetings with project managers to ensure that supplier responses are updated, accurate, and reflected in system reports.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to provide regular status updates to the European Head of Procurement.
Work closely with BH Consulting to ensure that security and privacy reviews are completed and documented on Ariba.
Perform general procurement tasks related to the Ariba Contracts Management System.
Desired Knowledge, Experience, and Skills: Familiarity with the SAP Ariba Contracts Management System is advantageous, but training will be provided.
Strong analytical skills and experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with SharePoint and Power BI is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess risks and update responses in the Ariba system.
Ability to present complex information clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Behavioural Competencies: Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage workloads effectively, often working to tight and changing deadlines.
Problem-solving ability with a pragmatic approach to finding solutions.
