Reports To: Global Product Director – Visitor Management
Location: Dublin, Ireland Office - Hybrid
Position Summary As the Product Owner for our Visitor Management solutions, you will play a critical role in driving the development and success of the product by managing the product backlog and working closely with cross-functional teams. Acting as the bridge between customers, stakeholders, and the development team, you'll ensure that product enhancements and fixes deliver maximum value while aligning with the company's strategic goals. Your primary responsibility will be to translate customer needs into actionable development goals, keeping a clear and organized roadmap to guide the development team. By leading this process, you'll continuously drive progress and innovation, ensuring each product release meets both customer expectations and business objectives.
What you'll focus on at acre: Fully own and manage the product backlog.Understand and contribute to the product vision and strategy so that each development increment translates customer, market, business and strategic requirements into functional and system specifications.Translate feature level goals into an organized prioritized product backlog ready for the development team to act on.Create epics and user stories to support development and release management.Collaborate with cross functional teams to capture, clarify and build product requirements that meet the customer and user needs.Maintain and communicate a transparent product backlog that reflects an accurate status of work-in-progress.Communicate and mitigate ongoing and possible delays during the development process.Create and support the production of comprehensive product documentation, training, support, and marketing collateral.Work autonomously to ensure that product delivery goals are achieved through collaboration and partnership with team members.What you'll bring to the table: A Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience in software development is required.Product Owner certification is a bonus!Strong grasp of agile frameworks, with excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.Proven leadership skills to provide clear direction and keep the team focused on achieving product goals.Skilled in analyzing situations and applying critical thinking to resolve challenges.Capable of delivering a clear vision for product priorities and guiding the team toward success.What You'll Get From Us: At acre, we offer more than just a job.
