Production Lead Operator Our client develops disruptive innovations in Diagnostics and Healthcare globally. Their staff are at the heart of everything they do and achieve. They have exciting new career opportunities for a Production Lead Operator within their Biochip production team. What does the Biochips manufacturing team do? The Biochip manufacturing team work on production lines that manufacture various Biochip arrays, to fulfil customer orders. Location: Dungloe, Co. Donegal. Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent. Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week, 4 days a week from 07.00 to 15.40. What does the Production Lead Operator role involve? This role is responsible for carrying out all tasks associated with Biochip formulation and working closely with other sections of the process, including Spotting and Assembly. This is a varied role that will require you to develop a varied skillset, including: - Prepare daily antibody and associated buffers. - Advanced planning of schedules, ensuring stocks of all raw materials are available. - Preparation of daily paperwork, order requests, and ensuring deliveries are made on schedule. - Maintaining stock lists and inventory. - Monitoring and maintaining assets and equipment within the Formulation Laboratories, ensuring they are documented and fit for use, calibrate correctly and in date. - Productivity logs to be updated weekly including KPIs and other quality necessary documentation. Full on the job training will be provided on our clients processes. Who can apply? Essential: - Qualified to at least degree standard in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology, or a Life Science. - Experience working within a clean room environment. Desirable: - Working knowledge of Health and Safety, including CoSHH. - Familiarity with quality systems.
