The Production Scientist - 18 month FTC for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the manufacture and in process testing of Beckman Coulters newly developed Blood Virus Diagnostic Reagent kits. This position is part of the Blood Virus formulation team located in Lismeehan, Co. Clare and will be an on-site position. You will be a part of the Immunoassay Blood Virus formulation team and report to the Formulation Manager responsible for the manufacture of Blood Virus reagent kits. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Manufacture Blood Virus Diagnostic Reagents Perform In process testing of Blood Virus Diagnostic Reagents Maintain neat and accurate written records as per relevant Formulation procedures and work instructions, ensuring all procedures reflect current practices Perform Routine calibration and maintenance of production equipment Work with technical operations, validation and other relevant departments to aid in the implementation of new process introductions and process improvements, including validation activities The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelors Degree with experience in a Formulation / Manufacturing environment desirable Experience in a Laboratory environment with good working knowledge of laboratory techniques Benefits: Pension Fund Medical Aid / Health Care Performance Bonus
