Job Description: Ocuco is offering an exciting opportunity for a technically gifted, Italian-speaking engineer with an IT-related degree to join our Global Operations team as a Professional Services Engineer and support our European customer base.

The successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of our software and use their technical ability to provide excellent technical support to our customers.
From small independent opticians to large globally recognized retail chains, candidates will encounter evolving challenges, which require both technical and real-world problem-solving skills.

This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent progression opportunities.

Responsibilities: Provide our customers with excellent technical support over the phone, email, and remote links; Install and configure our software on customers' sites to align with their business processes; Troubleshoot issues remotely and escalate as appropriate; Conduct remote customer training, with a potential for on-site/international training; Develop Ocuco training courses and documentation using best practice procedures, methodologies, and tools; Minimum Requirements: A degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent; 2+ years of experience in a similar role providing Level 2+ support for complex applications; Excellent communication skills and perfect fluency in both English and Italian; Ability to acquire new technical information quickly; A positive attitude that always gets the job done; Attention to detail and perfectionist instincts that ensure tasks are completed correctly on the first attempt; Drive for a high-intensity, high-energy work environment and ability to contribute to the same; Preferred Qualifications: Experience in software training, technical support, or in another IT area; Knowledge of the optical industry; Experience in Multimedia Design / Technical Writing Ability; Skills in another European language; Experience with databases & SQL; A full, clean driving license;
