Servisource is currently recruiting aProgramme Executive- National Retrofit Technical for a public sector Start date: ASAP Duration of post: 18-month contract Working week: 35h/ week - Monday to Friday Salary: €50,001 Location: Dublin or Dundalk Duties and responsibilities: Supporting the Programme Manager in the technical and operational development of the National Retrofit Plan, including developing new programme delivery approaches.
Delivering and developing new programme and project initiatives such as research and pilot projects (heat pump, heat loss indicator, home energy assessments, centralised heating systems).
Managing projects which will deliver robust technical field data to inform the development of the technical standards to deliver Climate Action Plan objectives.
Develop, review, and maintain standard technical and administrative guidelines.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships and work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders including One Stop Shops, Retrofit Companies, relevant representative associations within the industry.
Partner across client organisation and with Service Providers to ensure continuous improvement of delivery process.
To undertake any other duties/projects as may be assigned from time to time within the wider residential programme and across other client's Business Units.
To ensure that activity peaks within the Department are addressed in a proactive manner, it is expected that the candidate appointed to this role will need to be flexible in terms of working hours during these periods.
Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of relevant standards, e.g., S.R.
54:2019, client's Domestic Technical Standard & Specification (DTSS), Building Regulations etc.
A proven proactive approach to achieving results, including managing scope, time, risk assessment, cost, and quality.
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Strong project management and organisation skills and knowledge of business process management.
Strong networking and relationship development capability.
Good understanding of all supports available across client's relevant to programmes.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTES A minimum of Level 7 Qualification on the National Framework Qualifications (NFQ) in a relevant technical or operational field i.e.
Engineering or Science based.
Minimum three years experience of working in this or a related sector or in a similar role.
Expertise/knowledge in the following: energy efficiency retrofit measures, their installation and commissioning, building energy rating methodology, building physics, fabric upgrades and renewable technologies such as heat pumps.
Strong project management and organisation skills and knowledge of business process development experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presenting, public speaking.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS Full Driving Licence.
Understanding of project management methodologies.
Industry experience including knowledge of the retrofit sector.
Experience in carrying out Building Energy Ratings.
Experience of design, installation and or maintenance of energy efficiency technologies.
