Job DescriptionThe Role:
Elgin is accepting applications for our 2025 Graduate Programme.
The successful graduate would be expected to start in September 2025.
Our Graduate Programme provides an intensive 18-month learning journey with the project development team.
The programme aims to give you experience across all areas of the development process, preparing you for the role of project manager.
What you will do: Identifying new solar sitesEnvironmental Constraints AnalysisLiaising with contractors and landownersProject viabilityGrid capacity identificationPreparing project feasibility packsSite visits to the UK and ROILiaising with other teams in the business What you should expect to learn in this role:Knowledge of the UK and Ireland Solar industryUnderstanding the grid network infrastructure and technical requirements to connect a PV project to the grid.Project management skillsCommunication and negotiation skillsPresentation skillsEngagement with landownersUnderstanding project riskWorking within a teamConfidence working in a large fast-paced organisation.Communication with senior management Your ProfileWhat we need from you: Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or related discipline.Valid driver's license for UK & Ireland.Be curious about renewables and passionate about contributing towards a more sustainable future.Knowledge of the German or Italian language is desirable but not essential.Instead of a cover letter, we would ask applicants to send in their CV and answer the following questions (max 100 words per answer):
