Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be joining the team behind the market-leading IBM Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS). This team is responsible for consistently delivering business results through high-quality products and continuous innovation. Your role will be focused on developing and executing global strategies to build incremental revenue streams for Integration products through strategic partners/alliances as well as managing a team of Product Managers across Integration. Key aspects of the role include:
Building relationships with IBM's partner ecosystem teams to understand the advantages and limitations of each type of channel partnership and resources available.Understanding the messaging market and client needs to identify product adjacencies that can be delivered through partner channels (including but not limited to product integration, joint partnerships, affinity marketing, and so on) to define a global ecosystem strategy that aligns with and accelerates IBM's business goals.Identifying, creating, and nurturing partnerships with new and existing businesses in the ecosystem to expand IBM's reach, capabilities and customer base through localized customer service and/or specialized capabilities. This includes working with an experienced team in IBM Legal and Contracts to define and execute contracts.Enabling and influencing partner sellers by defining and refining value propositions to meet specific client needs, including working closely with the IBM Partner Marketing teams.Collaborating closely with the wider product team and engineering, as well as non-product functions such as marketing, customer support, and executive leadership.Monitoring performance of initiatives to provide regular business reviews and strategy adjustments where necessary.Bringing your expertise as a personnel manager to lead and inspire a high-performing team of product managers across the Integration portfolio, with a focus on empowering individuals and driving collective success through mentoring and coaching. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Extensive industry experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role in Product Management, preferably for Enterprise Software or SaaS with a proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies. Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise It is desirable for applicants to have familiarity and understanding of Integration technologies and Hybrid Cloud use cases.Understanding and experience with Event Driven technologies such as Message Queuing, Kafka, APIs, and Application Integration will be a plus.
