What is the opportunity? As Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering projects, from initiation to close, which meet agreed business and technical objectives within time, cost and quality standards. In this role, you will: Manage project issues, risks, dependencies and change control within agreed processes, and update Case accordingly, to ensure delivery of project results within the agreed scope Ensure that the Bank of Ireland investment approval and review process is followed and be adaptable to recommendations of any health check /project reviews Manage the project budget on behalf of the Executive Sponsor, monitoring and reporting the costs against the delivered and realised benefits Monitor the overall project progress, resolving issues, initiating corrective action and referring major issues upwards to the Programme Manager / Change Delivery Manager as appropriate Manage project deliverables and ensure that all project work are to the appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the project plan and coherent with the overall project objectives and related business strategy What will make you stand out? You have a proven track record in delivering complex, wide ranging projects in a timely manner and can demonstrate your ability to engage with, and leverage partners to deliver the project. Strong candidates for this role will have in-depth knowledge of project processes, software development cycle, Bank technical architecture, development, compliance, regulatory and implementation standards. Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role; Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE II) Project Management certifications (Agile, Scrum master etc) More about the team Group Change is responsible for end-to-end delivery of change across Bank of Ireland's services.
