Project Manager - Dublin - Hybrid - Renewable Energy - Utility scale


My client is a leading utility and energy provider in Ireland dedicated to transforming the energy landscape in Ireland operating in the solar, onshore and offshore wind, battery storage, flexible generation and hydrogen projects.

This role will be in the Asset Development team who have a proven track record of identifying, developing, and delivering large scale energy projects to the business.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on large-scale and complex projects ensuring these are progressed in line with delivery strategy for the Asset Development.


Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to assigned project teams in the delivery of projects from early development phase and business case through to construction.
- Manage safety across the projects by leading implementation of the safety management strategy across all projects.
- Oversee the assessment and development of new business opportunities.
- Regular reporting to management team and the relevant Project Boards.
- Be fully informed of industry issues which may impact on the choice of plant and ensure that this information feeds into the decision making process.


Experience: At least 5 years relevant experienceA track record in delivering projects, project management and new business development, with relevant experience in managing the development of energy generation projectsExperience of negotiations and commercial abilityKnowledge of the energy market and regulatory supports in Ireland and UKKnowledge of procurement proceduresA primary Engineering degree or equivalent Benefits offered: Competitive salary21 holidaysBonuses and discounts on energyHybrid workingCareer development through mentoring and trainingCredit UnionPension
